Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology

International competition for the desing of the new Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology BIST Headquarters. Located in the Antic Mercat del Peix, close to the Ciutadella Park, the project establishes a dialogue with the Pompeu Fabra University campus. A plinth that ressembles the old barrack buildings and an upper transparent volume dedicated to research. An inner atrium generates the image of the building and stimulates the relations between the different research groups.
